Fantastic Sport Touring Bike, most of my miles have been done on several thousand mile road trips. Bike is very light and fast, yet extremely comfortable. I'm 6'0 / 200 lbs., and I never felt cramped or fatigued riding her for 8-10 hrs/day. The bags work great and have plenty of room. I love this bike but I have decided to get a Dual Sport bike to explore the dirt side more. This is a one owner adult owned, climate controlled, battery tended, garage kept motorcycle that has been very well cared for. 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Announced [Video]
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Ducati announced its upcoming new 1198 replacement will be called the 1199 Panigale (pronounced “Pan-ee-gah-lee” for a region of Italy). The 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale will have its full unveiling at the Nov. 10-13 2011 EICMA show in Milan.
2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Recall Expands to US
Wed, 20 Jun 2012As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale following a similar recall in Canada. The recall affects all versions of the sportbike, including the base 1199 Panigale, 1199 Panigale S and the 1199 Panigale S Tricolore. Ducati is recalling the Panigale because a “non-compliant” screw may have been used to attach the rear suspension linkage to the swingarm.
Italy Recognizes Cultural Importance of Ducati Museum
Wed, 18 Jan 2012Italy’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities has granted official recognition to the Ducati Museum in Bologna, Italy, for it’s cultural significance. The Museo Ducati‘s archives have been deemed to be of such cultural importance, they deserve to be part of Italy’s national archive. First opened in June 1998, the museum houses documents form Ducati‘s technical archive as well as a vast collection of engines and motorcycles.
