This is what Öhlins have to say about them: We've developed a set of performance forks for the awesome Ducati Diavel to give increased handling capabilities to this already unique ‘muscle bike’.The FGRT 301 ‘Road and Track’ forks have been especially designed with black outer tubes and gold fork sliders to retain the mean and moody look of this 160bhp monster machine, something that reflects the front suspension on the Ducati MotoGP machines.Featuring 48mm forks containing Öhlins NIX 30mm cartridge technology, the new forks offer improved road manners and high performance capabilities for when the pace increases. Tue, 07 Aug 2012For 1199 Panigale to be eligble in Japan, Ducati have had to make it quieter by adding a longer exhaust and a different clutch cover to pass noise tests. The exhaust adds 4kg to the overall 164kg weight, it also requires a unique Japan-only engine mapping. Further dampening the sound is a plastic clutch cover that extends up to cover the rear cylinder.
Max Biaggi Testing the Ducati Desmosedici GP13 MotoGP Racer
Thu, 06 Jun 2013Max Biaggi has completed his first day of testing on Ben Spies‘ Pramac Racing Ducati Desmosedici GP13 at Italy’s Mugello circuit. No lap times were released so we don’t know how the recently retired two-time World Superbike Champion fared compared to the lap times posted by MotoGP racers at the same track at last weekend’s Italian Grand Prix. What do have are these images of Biaggi on a GP racebike for the first time since 2005 when he raced for Honda.
