Ducati Multistrada description

2006 Ducati Multistrada 620, Great all around bike!VERSATILITY AND AGILITYContact Chris Horrar for further details.Agile and light, the entry-level model is aimed at riders looking for a versatile, essential motorcycle that is, above all, easy and fun to ride. User-friendliness is enhanced by a riding position 20 millimeter lower and a weight of 29 pounds (13 kilograms) lighter than on the 1000 cc versions, thus allowing more riders to feel secure in all situations.

Developed on the winding mountain roads and city streets of Italy, the Multistrada is, for many motorcycling aficionados, a dream come true: a high performance sport bike that doesn t compromise comfort, versatility or practicality. The Ducati Multistrada is the ideal motorcycle, every day, on every road.

The Multistrada 620 is powered by an air-cooled two-valve 618 cc Desmodue L-twin engine. Easy to maintain, with low fuel consumption, its smooth power delivery gives exceptional riding enjoyment.

Thanks to minimal clutch lever squeeze effort and the downshift slipper function, the APTC clutch makes riding in traffic both enjoyable and safe.

Max Biaggi to Test Ben Spies’ Ducati Desmosedici GP13 MotoGP Racer

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

Retired four-time 250cc Grand Prix Champion and two-time World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi will be returning to the track this week to ride a Ducati Desmosedici GP13 at MotoGP test at Italy’s Mugello circuit. Biaggi will be riding in place of Pramac Racing‘s Ben Spies who continues to rehab his shoulder and pectoral muscle injury. With Spies’ on-going injury problems and a star like Biaggi on tap, some might hope this change may be a more permanent arrangement but Pramac is careful to state Biaggi will only be testing the Desmosedici with Ducati test team rider Michele Pirro continuing to race in Spies’ absence.

2010 Ducati Multistrada: crashed

Mon, 08 Mar 2010

THIS IS WHAT a 2010 Ducati Multistrada looks like when it's been slung up a gravel road at well over 60mph. The word on the street is that journo Costa Mouzouris of CMGonline is the culprit behind the battled-scarred machine; reports say he lobbed it while on the bike's world press launch in Lanzarote. In true Ducati post-topple fashion, the bike appears to have spewed the contents of its sump over the floor, as well as sustaining a fair bit of cosmetic damage.
