Based on the Multistrada 1100, the 1100 S features a number of advanced components including fully-adjustable Öhlins suspension and carbon fiber highlights. The 1100 S features a carbon fiber front mudguard, carbon fiber cam belt covers, variable-section alloy handlebars fitted with vibration isolator mounts, and a Superbike derived Öhlins suspension. The combination of a versatile Trellis frame and high performance suspension components provides true Superbike performance capable of lightning-quick cornering and extreme riding precision. 43 mm Öhlins forks with low friction TiN fork sliders are complemented by a fully adjustable Öhlins rear shock with remote preload adjustment to ensure road holding reminiscent of a Superbike. 2014 Hesketh 24 Officially Launched

British brand Hesketh has officially launched its limited edition tribute to its Formula 1 roots and the start of a new generation of motorcycles. The Hesketh 24 was originally supposed to be ready in February but after encountering some delays, the 1950cc V-Twin is ready to go. Hesketh is only producing 24 units, but the company says it has plans for a two-seat sport-touring model based on the same platform.

Effenbert Liberty Promotes McCormick to WSBK Team After Talks With Bayliss Fall Through

Another Troy Bayliss comeback attempt has fallen through. The Effenbert Liberty Racing Team announced it was in discussions with Bayliss over entering a couple of World Superbike rounds this season as a wild card entry. Those discussions did not develop into a return for the three-time WSBK champion; instead the team will promote rider Brett McCormick to the now four-member Effenbert Liberty WSBK team.
