2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S TOURING, Electronic suspension and horsepower control. Can switch between 100 HP and 150 HP and suspension settings on the fly. Very well-maintained. Scuff on hand guard, otherwise no chips, scratches, dings. This bike has always been garaged. Throttlemeister. Two seats--Ducati gel touring seat plus standard seat. Frame sliders. When I bought this, I was debating between a BMW 1200 GS and the Ducati. I bought the Ducati because of the street handling--the smaller diameter front tire makes cornering very easy. Effenbert Liberty Signs McCormick to Ride Ducati 1199 Panigale in 2012 World Superstock Championship
Mon, 12 Dec 2011Czech racing team Effenbert-Liberty has signed reigning Canadian Superbike Champion Brett McCormick to ride the new Ducati 1199 Panigale in the 2012 World Superstock 1000 FIM Cup. McCormick won the Canadian championship this season riding the BMW S1000RR, and he’ll be one of the first racers to compete on the Ducati 1199 Panigale which will make its world championship racing debut in the upcoming World Superstock season. The Panigale will be available to Superstock racers this season but won’t make its debut in the World Superbike class until 2013.

New Spy Photo of Near-Complete 2013 Ducati Multistrada/Hyperstrada 848
Wed, 11 Jul 2012The latest spy photo of Ducati‘s upcoming 848-engined model continues to muddle the debate as to whether the new motorcycle is a Hypermotard or a Multistrada. The new model appears to blend elements of the two existing bikes with the liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° engine and an all-new frame. What will likely emerge is a new model with a couple of variations, a sport version and a touring version, This latest picture (the one shown below the jump has been tweaked for better contrast and a bit of sharpening) reveals the new side-mounted exhaust design and Ohlins suspension.
