The bike is in like new condition. Derived from the Multistrada 1200 S Touring, the Ducati MultiStrada S 1200 S Granturismo is ready to deal with any kind of trips and was especially designed to be both comfortable and practical. The bike features the DSS (Ducati Skyhook Suspension) active suspension system. As far as practicality goes, the S Touring is equipped with spacious 58-litre side panniers, center stand and heated grips. You will also find a large glove compartment with push-push lid up front in the right panel and a roomy (over 3-litre capacity) storage compartment under the passenger seat.ower comes from an L-Twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic, Dual Spark, liquid cooled, 1198.4cc engine that churns out 150hp at 9250rpm. The engine is mated on a six speed gearbox with the final drive ratio being designed for fuel efficiency and increased comfort with less vibration.

Thu, 19 Apr 2012As expected, Mercedes-Benz’s performance division AMG announced it is cutting ties with Ducati following the motorcycle manufacturer’s acquisition by rival car-maker Audi. AMG released a brief statement saying, explaining the split and saying it we never in the running to purchase Ducati: “Since the end of 2010 a successful marketing cooperation has existed between AMG and Ducati. Tue, 09 Mar 2010Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. If nothing else, the Internet is great for generating entertaining rumors, speculative talk, spewing hearsay, etc, etc. With the exception of chatter on where the next lucky third-world orphan to be assimilated by Brangelina might come from, nothing seems to spread faster than talk of a venerated bike receiving a thorough update.
