Ducati Multistrada description

Nearly new bike in as-new condition. Purchased in late May and currently has ~1200 miles. The bike is being ridden, so the mileage will continue to increase approximately 50-100 miles per week.

First service was performed on schedule. Bike has run fine with zero problems from Day 1.

Panniers were removed following the ride home from the dealer and are flawless.

Mods:
  • GadgetGuy mount for Garmin 660LM - mount and GPS will go with the bike.
  • Pazzo levers (long, black, w/red adjusters) - will go with the bike.
Bike is also listed for sale locally.  First priority naturally given to those with cash in hand.  Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

No trades, partial or otherwise.  Don't ask me how little I'm willing to accept - that's a ridiculous question; I might as well ask you how much you're willing to pay.  I'm not a game player and that's one of the joys of this format: the least I'm willing to accept is the starting amount of the auction.  Simple, right?

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.

Carlos Checa Announces Retirement

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

After 20 years of world-level racing and a world championship in World Superbike in 2011, Carlos Checa has officially decided to retire from the sport. Checa, who turned 41 just a few days ago, made his debut on the world scene back in 1993, when he took part in the GP 250 championship. In the twenty years that followed, he went on to compete in the 500cc, MotoGP and Superbike championships.

Max Biaggi Testing the Ducati Desmosedici GP13 MotoGP Racer

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

Max Biaggi has completed his first day of testing on Ben Spies‘ Pramac Racing Ducati Desmosedici GP13 at Italy’s Mugello circuit. No lap times were released so we don’t know how the recently retired two-time World Superbike Champion fared compared to the lap times posted by MotoGP racers at the same track at last weekend’s Italian Grand Prix. What do have are these images of Biaggi on a GP racebike for the first time since 2005 when he raced for Honda.
