Ducati Multistrada tech info
Ducati Multistrada description
I hate to let my baby go, but here she is… She is a 2013 Multistrada 1200S touring. I got her in march of 2014 from the dealer. It has 7,717 miles on it, most of which have been put on road trips. I put on the Pirelli Angel GT tires and have 2k miles on them, and I’ve included pictures of both of them with a penny so you can see how much thread there is on them. I just completed the 7k mile service a month ago, and have changed the oil religiously every 2.5k. The bike has a scratch on the right side, which you can see a picture of. It has never been dropped or involved in any sort of accident. It comes with the paneer bags that come with the bike, and they have a few scratches from being taken on and off, and carried. I have also put a givi stand, (picture above), which lets you attach any givi bags to the top. This bike has been cared for and loved. If you have any questions, please let me know, I will answer them asap and to the best of my abilities.
PLEASEEEE don't bid unless you have the funds secured. Bike has a Florida Title. The bike or title will not be send anywhere until the bank confirms the funds 100%. a $500 deposit is due at the end of the action, and it is not refundable if you are not able to finalize the purchase within the next 7 days. The bike is being sold where is, and you are responsible for shipping. I am more than happy to help accommodate the pick up. PS: I have the owners manual, the extra red key, and an extra fairing the bike came with, along with the bag that was given at the dealership with the tools it comes with. |

The 848, challenged
Mon, 18 Apr 2011Last year I decided to enter the 848 Challenge and ever since that decision, a challenge is exactly what I've had on my hands. On one of his last days at the magazine, Barry - our mag designer - took Ducati's 848 to Brands for some instruction with our very own Niall Mackenzie. An ex-GP god, a pristine Italian superbike and a dry Brands Hatch. What would possibly go wrong?
Rossi & Ducati: 2011 vs 2012
Thu, 26 Jul 2012It was meant to be an Italian dream reminiscent of the era when Giacomo Agostini dominated Grand Prix with MV Agusta, but ever since Valentino Rossi joined Ducati he has dwindled into a mid-pack runner. There have been glimmers of hope, a Ducati-best for Rossi in the rain at Le Mans and a good showing in the last round at Mugello. Clearly his best dry weather performance, finishing 11 seconds behind the race winner and within eye-shot of the podium.
Around the world on a Multistrada
Tue, 07 Jun 2011Ever since Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman rode their BMW’s around the world it seems anyone with a ‘GS’ has an open ticket to ride around the world and then write about it. And fair enough, if I could afford the bike and the trip then I’d be gone as well. Obviously, BMW reaped the rewards when Ewan and Charlie showcased what their GS could really do, changing BMW’s image from solid but stuffy, to solid and cool overnight.
