This is a running 1964 Ducati 125TS with odometer reading 98724. The 125 TS has become one of the most popular classic Ducatis around. It is powered by a 124 cc SOHC single engine that’s mated to a four-speed transmission. Capable of 70 mph and revving to 8,500 rpm.
This bike appears to be in original condition. There are scratches, paint chippings, and surface rust throughout the bike. It is a bike that shows its age. The logo has faded on the tank along with side covers. It looks at one point someone tried to repaint parts of the tank that are noticeable. The bike has comes with plate from previous owner. The bike is in running condition, however, it DOES NOT have a key. It will also need a new battery. It is a great machine and great for a vintage show! Ducati Holding Private Viewings of New Scrambler at World Ducati Week
Wed, 18 Jun 2014Ducati announced it will offer private preview viewings of its new Scrambler prototype at World Ducati Week, July 18-20. Visitors to the annual Ducatisti festival at Italy’s Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli will get an early look at the Scrambler. Not counting the spy photos that have leaked out, the Scrambler has only been seen in person by Ducati employees who were recently given a sneak peak.
2014 Hesketh 24 Officially Launched
Mon, 16 Jun 2014British brand Hesketh has officially launched its limited edition tribute to its Formula 1 roots and the start of a new generation of motorcycles. The Hesketh 24 was originally supposed to be ready in February but after encountering some delays, the 1950cc V-Twin is ready to go. Hesketh is only producing 24 units, but the company says it has plans for a two-seat sport-touring model based on the same platform.
Radical Ducati Closing Its Doors
Wed, 15 Jan 2014Radical Ducati, the Madrid-based motorcycle shop known for its wild and exquisite custom Ducatis, has suddenly ceased operations. On its Facebook page, Pepo Rosell who runs the shop alongside Reyes Ramon, posted, “It has been more than 15 years of passion, designing, fabricating, riding and developing my dreams. Now is time to stop and make a change in my life. I want to thanks all of you for your support and for share our passion.” The loss of Radical Ducati is certainly unexpected. While it’s a sad sight to see them go, thankfully the duo have created some of the most beautiful custom Ducatis on the planet, which will live on as a reminder of their legacy. So in their honor, I’ve created a photo gallery below of just a sampling of some of Rosell and Ramon’s best work.
