I am reluctantly offering for sale one of my favorite bikes. It's time to thin the herd. I have owned this bike for almost 9 years and have ridden it a total of 12 miles. I purchased the bike at an auction and met the previous owner after winning the bid. He explained the complete restoration and installing a zero mile speedometer. I have no paperwork or receipts to back up any overhaul claims. I also do not know the mileage on the bike before the restoration. It starts, runs and stops great. I have replaced the batteries and put in fresh gas and started it occasionally over the years. It always starts right up, idles smoothly with no funny noises. Tires are like new, chrome is shiny. No dents, dings, rips, tears or fading. the exhaust has the shorty muffler and is a little loud for me. I am no expert on these Ducatis but have been told it all looks to have all the original parts except that the fenders may have been red at one time. 2015 Ducati Monster 821 Revealed

Just over six months after Ducati revealed its Monster 1200 at EICMA, the Italian manufacturer announced another new liquid-cooled member to its naked roadster line. Sharing the same 90° V-Twin engine as the Hyperstrada and Hypermotard, the new Monster 821 shares many design cues with its 1198cc sibling. The 821cc Testastretta 11° engine, claiming 112 hp and 65.9 ft-lb., is housed in a steel trellis frame similar to that on the Monster 1200.

Carlos Checa Tests Superbike-Spec 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale at World Ducati Week

Revellers at 2012 World Ducati Week got a surprise treat with defending World Superbike Champion Carlos Checa completing an unscheduled test of the WSBK-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale. The Althea Ducati racer has ridden the production version of the Panigale but this marked his first test of the WSBK-spec version. His maiden ride of the WSBK Panigale was supposed to take place at Mugello but instead Checa and Ducati decided to give the Ducatisti a treat at the Misano circuit for WDW.

While the motorcycle world is eagerly waiting for the new 2015 Ducati Scrambler to go on sale, Japanese Speedtractor customizers are reinventing their scrambler from a Bolognese brand donor. The motorcycle is based on the 1988 Ducati 750 Sport. The previous owner bought it in the mid-1990s to ride on the track, but after the first Sunday race, he parked the bike in the garage for several years for some reason.
