The bike features a fully-adjustable suspension system. The front fork rake is adjustable between 23.5 and 24.5 degrees via a specially designed eccentric in the steering head – a Ducati feature that allows tuning for individual tracks or riding style. The 749S has a 748 cc Testastretta engine that supplies 116 HP at 10,500 rpm and 61 ft-lbs at 8500 rpm, allowing for maximum performance without compromising reliability.

2014 Lito Sora Electric Motorcycle Entering Production

Canadian company Lito Green Motion announced the start of production for its SORA electric motorcycle. Described as a cafe racer with a bobber twist, the Lito SORA claims a top speed of 118 mph and a range of 124 miles in the city and more than 52 miles at highway speeds. Visually, the Lito SORA stands out from other electric motorcycles.

Saltarelli Classic Ducati Collection Up for Auction

One of the world’s largest private collections of Ducati motorcycles is going on the auction block. Former Ducati factory test rider, racer and dealer Carlo Saltarelli is selling his collection of classic motorcycles at RM Auction‘s biennial auction in Monaco on May 11-12 during the Grand Prix of Monaco Historique. Saltarelli’s collection includes 100 motorcycles including a 1970 ex-Works Ducati 450 Desmo Corsa which was featured in the Ducati museum in Bologna, Italy.
