2013 Ducati Streetfighter 848 only 1550 miles !!! Like New ! ! ! Matte Black. Bone Stock except for the magnetic oil plug. 600 mile check up and oil change performed. The bike is being financed by my credit union and they have the title. All payments are automatic and up to date, zero issues. I have been a member of the credit union financing the bike for more than 30 years. I am 50, I am not a racer or a stuntman. I have used the bike to commute 18 miles round trip to work and that is it. I am selling it because I have three other bikes and I need room in the garage and I ride this one the least. Tue, 10 Apr 2012The 2012 Ducati 848 Challenge got off to a dramatic start at Brands Hatch this weekend as the weather played a disruptive influence on the outcome of both races. Cold, rainy conditions prevailed on both Easter Sunday and Monday forcing the field of 33 riders to kick-off the season racing on wet tyres in greasy track conditions. With a number of riders having to start from pit lane, Race 1 got off to an eventful start with two riders falling at Paddock Hill as all the riders jostled for places and wheels touched.
Ducati Issues Rear Brake Recall for Several 2012 Models
Tue, 08 May 2012Ducati is issuing a recall on several 2012 models because of a problem with the rear brake. The models included are the 848 EVO, the Streetfighter 848, the Hypermotard 796, the ABS-equipped versions of the Multistrada 1200, and the Monsters 796 and 1100 EVO. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the friction material on the rear brake pads may detach from the backing plate, resulting in a drop in rear braking efficiency and increased stopping distance.
