2006 Ducati Sport Classic 1000 Monoposto for sale. Bike Has been adult owned and well maintained clean bike. Recent maintenance. Belts replaced at dealer, front brake pads replaced with Galfer pads, Spark plugs replaced with Iridium NGK, All fluids engine oil and filter, brake fluids and clutch fluids replaced. Chain was lubed, Tires still have plenty of life left. I have all 3 Keys (2 black + 1 Red) also have key card, mechanic ID tag and factory manuals, Clean clean clean bike come see it. The Sport1000 took its inspiration from the 1973 Ducati 750 Sport and related 750 Imola Desmo, and had the look of a classic lightweight single-seat cafe racer. This 2006 was the first production year and its the more desirable of the sport classic models, with its asymmetrical swing arm. Bike is located in Central NJ. Available for local pickup. I will not ship bike at this time.Motorcycle is USED and sold as is.

WE'VE STUMBLED across a series of videos posted on YouTube which follow the behind-the-scenes action of Valentino Rossi taking his first spin aboard Ducati's 2011 MotoGP racer. Filmed by an insider and posted on 'Tube by those lovely chaps at 'Assphalt and Rubber', the series of six videos follows the nine-time World Champion, as he's introduced to the 2011 machine for the first time. Rossi ended the two-day session at Valencia in 15th place on the timesheets.

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. From Ducati: Robbie Brown tightened his grip on the Ducati 848 Challenge championship with a maximum points haul from both races at Misano World Circuit, Italy. A win in Race 1 and second behind non-points scoring rider Chris Northover, was enough to open up a 53-point lead at the top of the table. With the round taking place during the famous World Ducati Week, which this year attracted a record crowd of 65,000, and in baking-hot 40 degree temperatures, the weekend was a proper test for the riders and teams.
