Collector’s Item: Ducati Diavel AMG, the Mercedes-badged Audi

As expected, Mercedes-Benz’s performance division AMG announced it is cutting ties with Ducati following the motorcycle manufacturer’s acquisition by rival car-maker Audi. AMG released a brief statement saying, explaining the split and saying it we never in the running to purchase Ducati: “Since the end of 2010 a successful marketing cooperation has existed between AMG and Ducati. Ducati Recalls Monster and Hypermotard Models for Fuel Line Flaws

Ducati is issuing a recall on its entire 2012 Monster and Hypermotard lineups due to internal cracking of fuel lines. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Ducati‘s quality control department discovered micro-cracking on the four-layer extruded fuel lines. The cracks occured on the inner surface of the line that comes in contact with fuel.

Man stuff: Ducati Zippo

I don't smoke, so my excuses for buying this are very limited - but that doesn't stop me wanting it. It's a Ducati Zippo from 1982, not that Zippo technology has changed much in the last two decades but the price of this one has. If it was a tenth of its £170 asking price, I might have bought it.
