If you've ever wanted to own the most beautiful bike ever made, this is the one. Built right and runs phenomenally well. Never used to "run errands" and motor was always brought up to temp before riding in a sporting manner. Oil and filter changed annually, regardless of how many miles were put on the bike. Records including original bill of sale and every maintenance record are included as are brochures and docs for all aftermarket parts installed. All stock parts are included too. I'm the GM at The Motorcycle Shop, this is my personal bike and have watched it's evolution. The original owner loved the bike and offered me the chance to own the most beautiful bikes made, couldn't pass it up. I installed Supercorsa SP's, changed the oil and filter using Ducati parts and Castrol oil, and put about 1000 miles on it. I've got an investment opportunity and must part with this beauty. I have all original paperwork including every repair order as well as bill of sale, original brochures, accessory catalogs, about 3 inches of paperwork. All invoices for aftermarket parts are in there too. All take off parts are included save the master cylinders and forks, our old Ducati Master Tech (who did 90% of the work on this bike) bartered for them. The bike was down on the left side at approx 5mph from gravel, the original fairing was repaired (you can see it on the back side), and the tip of the clutch lever and bar end have small scuffs. If I didn't point it out you'd hardly notice. The bike is located in Anchorage, AK. I have a freight company lined up and will take care of crating at our shop. Freight costs are going to vary so message me with your email and location (nearest dealer is best). I can contact the dealer and see if they'll accept as a favor to save you the cost. I'll cover $500 of the freight charge, that should pretty much get it to Seattle area free of charge. If you want any more pictures or videos of cold start, etc just ask, I'll be happy to oblige. |

Streetfighter 848, with added bling
Thu, 29 Sep 2011Now, you could hardly accuse the Streetfighter of not being good-looking, but for those of you who want a little more, Ducati have - of course - produced a range of aftermarket accessories to add a bit of bling to the already fairly tasty Streetfighter 848.Most of the Japanese aftermarket add-ons (or genuine accessories as they're known) are either too conservative or remarkably pointless. Let's take the fake-carbon clock surround on the CBR600RR or body-coloured pillion seat hump on the R1 as examples from a list of thousands. However, the bits bolted onto this Ducati look the part and give it an extra air of brutality and not a single centimetre of rim tape in sight.Check out the pics below; that seat unit is a work of art.
Ducati Celebrates 1 Million Facebook Likes – Video
Mon, 28 May 2012Facebook has been getting a bad rap of late with its recent IPO but that didn’t stop Ducati from celebrating its millionth “Like” on the official Ducati Facebook page. The Italian manufacturer marked the occasion with a video thanking its fans. The video is almost a real-life demonstration of how Facebook operates, following a first-person perspective of a fan visiting Ducati‘s headquarters in Bologna, Italy, and raising a thumb to “like” things he sees such the rows of L-Twin-powered motorcycles in the parking lot, Corse racebikes on display at the Ducati Museum, factory workers assembling a Ducati 1199 Panigale.
