Ducati Superbike description

I bought this with 990 miles on it and have put a few thousand dollars into the carbon fiber accessories. It has a smoke black windscreen, smoked signals on the front and back, carbon fiber fairings, carbon fiber clutch basket cover, carbon fiber exhaust cover, carbon fiber heel guards, carbon fiber key cover, a custom seat with the italian flag colors, and custom decals. This thing is a real head turner! I put tires on it last year and have put less than 400 miles on it since! You can't go wrong with this beauty!!!

Audi-Ducati Discussions No Longer Exclusive

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Audi‘s window for exclusive negotiation rights with Ducati has closed, but the German automaker is still expected to announce the acquisition of the Italian motorcycle brand this week. Volkswagen-owned Audi had exclusive rights to discuss acquiring Ducati until April 15, and though other suitors may now begin negotiations, Audi remains the front-runner. Last week, Reuters reported a deal could be announced as soon as April 18, the day before the Volkswagen Group’s annual shareholder meeting.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
