Ducati Superbike description

This bike is super clean, never been dropped, never seen rain and does not have a scratch on it. This is one of three bikes that I own and just don’t get time to ride it anymore so I hope this goes to a lucky owner that appreciates the bike as much as I do! Many add-ons as well as fully fitted out with lots of carbon fiber parts.

The add-ons include;

  • BTS Carbon Wheels
  • HP Bembo racing rotors
  • Ducati Performance Termi Fill Exhaust System with ECU and air filter
  • LoJack ant-theft unit (active)
  • Ducati Performance Rear sets
  • Eliminator kit
  • Clutch cover and pressure plate
  • CRG Levers
  • Chain and sprocket kit
  • HM Quickshifter gear lever (this upgrade provides electronic gear shifting the same as MotorGP 2 & 3. Makes the bike super quick through the gears. See more at www.hmquickshifter.com)
  • Matching rear seat cowl
  • Sport Chock stand
  • Ducati Superbike indoor cover

The long list of Carbon Fiber items include:

  • Front nose

EICMA 2008: First Impressions

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.

Recall for 2011 Ducati Diavel

Thu, 07 Jul 2011

Ducati is recalling certain 2011 Diavel units due to a risk of the license plate holder coming loose. The license plate holder on the Ducati Diavel floats over the rear tire thanks to a bracket attached to the swingarm. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brass inserts in the chain guard may become deformed over time, potentially loosening the screws attaching the bracket to the swingarm.
