R&G have been hard at work and already have a set of protection products to help keep the new Ducati 1199 Panigale's beauty intact. A total of nine products have been launched so far to help guard the engine, chassis and bodywork of the stunning Italian sportsbike from accident and general riding damage that are simple to fit and require no permanent modifications to the bike.

World Ducati Week 2012 Draws 65,000 Fans

Ducati announced a record 65,000 fans attended its World Ducati Week 2012 celebration, with fans from around the world gathering in the Misano Circuit to celebrate the Italian brand. The record crowd took in the entertainment including test rides, live music and feted Ducati’s MotoGP and World Superbike racers. One highlight was the drag race featuring some of Ducati’s current racers and retired WSBK Champion Troy Bayliss.

Ducati to Race Under MotoGP’s Open Class

Ducati announced its MotoGP team will compete under the new “Open” class instead of the “Factory” class the other major manufacturers are adopting. Ducati declared its decision on the Feb. 28 deadline for teams to declare which of the two different class regulations they will use for the 2014 season.
