Selling my non abs Panigale S. In new condition, with $4500 worth of aftermarket parts. Losing my job on return to the states, don't want the payment. Was only able to ride it for 2 weeks while on vacation in August. Beautiful bike all around, fast, serious head turner, sexiest bike in production. Comes with full race Termignoni exhaust (ceramic coated black), carbon clutch cover, smoked puig windscreen and fender eliminator kit. Hate to sell, just asking for payoff amount. 848 Challenge: Silverstone race results
Mon, 26 Sep 2011Race 1: Race 1 produced another memorable 848 Challenge race, with Mike Edwards (MSKworks.com) in determined mood to record his first race victory of the season. But Kenny Gilbertson (AOR/Boast Plumbing), Leon Morris, and Robbie Brown (Ducati Manchester) were to push him all the way, with the front four riders each having held the lead by the half way point. Further back Mark Cheetham (Shorrocks Motorcycles) was trading places with ex-Champion Darren Fry (JHP/Buildbase Ducati) with Aaron Brown (Ladybirds Ducati) and Ricky Holden (Holden Racing) less that a second apart.
Ducati Forms New Brazilian Subsidiary After Collapse of Importer Izzo
Mon, 22 Oct 2012Ducati announced the start of a new wholly-owned subsidiary for the Brazilian market after its former importing partner, the Izzo Group, ceased operations. The Izzo Group shut itself down earlier this month following a slow decline. At one point, the Izzo Group was one of Brazil’s largest motorcycle importers, with a list of manufacturers including Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Husqvarna, MV Agusta, Triumph and Zero.
Tough battles at Brands in the 848 Challenge
Mon, 08 Aug 2011The unique prospect of racing on both the Indy and GP circuits at Brands Hatch meant that Round 5 of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge was very much a tale of two halves. Having already raced the Indy circuit earlier in the season, the first part of the weekend was going to be reminiscent of previous rounds, while the switch to the GP circuit would favour those few who had previous race experience on the longer track. A full schedule on the opening day of the round saw Mike Edwards (MSKWorks.com) top the qualifying table to claim his first pole position of the season with a storming 48.86 sec lap, despite a low-side reminder of how slippery Druids can be in early morning free practice.
