Ducati Superbike description

Bike purchased by original owner in summer of 2012, then purchased by me in the summer of 2014 with 3,100 miles on it. Bike is paid off with clean title in hand. Bike has never been down. Tires have about 35% life left on them. Master cylinder has been replaced under warranty at Ducati Seattle in summer of 2015. The bike has a full Termignoni system installed (stock exhaust on hand and comes with this sale). The Termignoni System was purchased off a different crashed bike and thus has a small scrape on the right side exhaust can underneath side. Aftermarket parts include heated handgrips, tail tidy, and battery tender wiring. When parked, the bike is ALWAYS on rear stand with battery tender plugged in.

Sale comes with

Motorcycle with all currently installed items
Ducati Motorcycle Cover
Stock Exhaust System
Pit Bull Front and Rear Stands (if final purchase price is over $11,000)

Oh no. Anther teaser campaign

Mon, 19 Sep 2011

Here's a message to all marketing people: 'teaser' campaigns are awful. We get the idea, you want to hype your forthcoming product, create an air of anticipation, get our attention so when you finally launch the thing we're all on the edge of our collective seats. Sure, with some products – mobile phones, computer games, whatever – the teaser campaign probably works.

Ducati to Defend Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Crown [Video]

Thu, 02 Feb 2012

Ducati North America announced it will return to Colorado to defend its title in the 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Ducati riders have won the two previous years in the 1205cc motorcycle class with the Multistrada 1200, and the winning riders will be back with Ducati for 2012. Carlin Dunne, the 2011 1205cc class winner and the Hill Climb’s motorcycle class record holder will be joined by 2010 class winner and six-time overall Pikes Peak winner Greg Tracy to ride Ducati Multistrada 1200s prepped by the Spider Grips team for the July 8 event.

That used to be a Ducati 1098

I spotted this on my tinterweb travels. It's allegedly the demonstrator bike from a Ducati dealers on the isle of Jersey, in the English channel. The only information to hand is that the bike spat the rider off and the bike hit a tree - the only one for miles - and burst into flames.
