Bought bike from original owner in 1999. All original paperwork, owner's manual and service records. Numbered (plate) 779. Very good condition, never wrecked or dropped. 1 small chip in paint on front left side of fairing (see picture #6). New tires and new chain, carbs rebuilt, could use valve adjustment. All OEM parts except for Corbin seat and Staintune pipes. I do have OEM seat and pipes if buyer wants them. |

Report: Ducati Sold to Audi for US$1.13 Billion
Tue, 17 Apr 2012Reuters is reporting Audi has reached a deal with Investindustrial to acquire Ducati for a price of 860 million euros (US$1.13 billion). Citing two unnamed sources familiar with the deal, Reuters reports the purchase price includes Ducati‘s debts, estimated by one of those sources at below 200 million euros (US$262.6 million). As previously reported, the deal will be officially announced April 18, ahead of the annual shareholders meeting for Audi’s parent company, the Volkswagen Group.
Ducati Desmosedici GP13 Specs Revealed
Wed, 23 Jan 2013Ducati has revealed technical specifications on its Desmosedici GP13 MotoGP racer. The information is understandably vague in some areas, as manufacturers are hesitant in revealing too much information, and of course subject to change as the 2013 season progresses. The GP13 specifications revealed aren’t too far off of the specifications revealed for the Desmosedici GP12 this time last year ahead of the 2012 MotoGP season.
