Ducati Supersport description

904cc air-cooled V-Twin engine with only 19, 638 miles. The bike has had all of its required service. Within the last two years the valves and timing belts have been done, the carbs rebuilt and tuned, and a new rear tire. The Duc has an after market Corbin seat that is more comfortable than the stock one. I formed custom fiberglass turn signal indicators, a LED clear tail light, and swapped on bar-end mirrors. I have all of the original parts if you prefer to return it to stock. The bike has a new clutch, Kevlar brake lines and clutch line, a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket, and carbon fiber mudguards. There is also carbon fiber pipes and a tinted front windscreen. The battery is also new and has a trickle charger installed. The Ducati has tons of low-end torque, it moves quick, and hits the top end fast. All while getting 45 MPG. Always garaged the bike and didn't ride in the rain. I've never tracked the bike. All service done by a Ducati dealer - A&S Ducati.

The bike is available for local pick-up only. If you wish to make other arrangements, contact me first - before bidding.

2011 Vyrus Moto2 Grand Prix Racer Preview

Fri, 14 Jan 2011

Motorbike cognoscenti recognize the Vyrus name, the Italian brand producing exotic sportbikes based on the amazing hub-center-steered Bimota Tesi. The Vyrus story begins when Bimota filed for bankruptcy in the early 2000s. Vyrus principal Ascanio Rodorigo, a former Bimota employee, began producing his version of the Tesi after Bimota let its patents expire while it was in bankruptcy.

Michael Schumacher Riding the Ducati 1199 Panigale

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

Formula One racing star Michael Schumacher is a noted motorcyclist, having competed in various motorcycle races after his initial retirement from car racing. Schumacher was no slouch either, and once received an open invitation to ride a Honda in the World Superbike Championship. Schumacher recently got a chance to ride motorcycles on a track, taking part in a track day at the Paul Ricard circuit in France organized by Monster Energy and Mercedes-Benz.

Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

There is no real off season in Moto GP.  Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all.  This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery.  We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential.  Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon.  And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package.  Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle.  Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general.  Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.
