Harley-Davidson 125 SXT description

 GOOD+.. overall condition, Good running condition. Stored in a Garage...Original tires(no Checking),original seat, new grips, aftermarket rear view mirrors,all other parts original.Missing one reflector on front forks (Have two new ones not applied). rubber damper in left rear shock disintegrated of no consequence., Dent on right rear of fuel tank, Fuel tank has been de rusted and treated,all electronics work. Missing steering lock key.Comes with new battery and manual and a few parts.
   
      Bought in 1984 from high school friend with 350 miles on it.Road it in the 80's for about 18 months, two and from work. Again ten years later for a few months on trails. (The Low 2100 Miles) Otherwise it has been in my garage all its life with start and runs a couple of times a year for lubrication circulation.. Does show signs of age, ie, scratches, paint ware, some oily spots some bumps and bruises. but its all here with title, manuals, extra parts and new battery, They use to laugh at me at the Harley shop back in the day... now they want to buy it from me? Ha Ha!

Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched

It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.
