1981 Harley-Davidson FXWG original factory flame job. If you're looking at this you probably already know how rare and desirable these bikes are becoming. Here is a gorgeous two owner example of Harley-Davidsons first factory "chopper". This one is a mostly original example, missing only the original air cleaner and exhaust, console trim and original handlebars. The original speedometer is included with the bike as well as all paperwork back to when the bike was purchased new in Pennsylvania.
The engine was rebuilt by the original owner 2500 miles ago to stock specifications and I have the original pistons, valves, springs and cam that also go along with the bike. The original black paint shines and the factory flame job is in amazing original condition. This bike runs and rides amazing. I just took it on a 200 mile ride through the Northern Arizona mountains yesterday and it performed flawlessly. I'd love to keep this one, but I need to make room in the garage. Mustang Announces Metal Flake Seat Colors and Display for Sturgis
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Just in time for Sturgis, Mustang Seats has release new color options for its custom seats. Designed to match the retro colors on Harley-Davidson’s Hard Candy Custom collection, the vinyl seats have metal flake in six available colors available on Mustang’s Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper seats. According to Mustang, after the starting its custom seat program last fall, so many customers requested a metal flake option that they had to provide it.
Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points.
