Harley-Davidson Dyna description

Up for sale is a super rare, super clean, low mileage, Limited Edition 1991 Harley-Davidson Sturgis. This Sturgis is in almost original condition, straight from the factory and has been completely gone through and serviced.  This bike is in excellent condition, and part of the Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson motorcycle museum. This is a rare chance to own a piece of Harley history.

In 1991 Harley-Davidson built this FXDB-S Sturgis as a collector bike to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Sturgis Rally. Only 1600 of these motorcycles were made, 400 of them were immediately shipped to Canada and Europe, leaving roughly 1200 Harley-Davidson Sturgis models available for retail in the United States. This bike is number 79 of 1600. This is a must have for any Harley-Davidson or motorcycle collector. Powering this motorcycle, and the first of the Dyna Series, is an Air cooled four stroke 45 V-Twin OHV Motor that provides plenty of power. This potent power-plant is paired to a 5-Speed manual smooth shifting transmission. This Sturgis shines in the Vivid Black paint, and the orange Sturgis script on the fuel tanks and orange highlights throughout ensures that this road monster will not be mistaken for any other motorcycle. This is a true collector’s motorcycle that is hard to come by in such a perfect condition. This Sturgis is definitely a bike for the serious Harley-Davidson rider or collector.

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle

Fri, 31 Jul 2009

I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl.  He’s amazingly talented and very driven.  Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson.  The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
