SINCE THE BIKE IS OVER 10 YEAS OLD IT IS EXEMPT FROM ANY MILEAGE RESTRICTIONS. IT IS VIVID BLACK IN COLOR AND POWERED BY A 1340CC (80') CARBURETED ENGINE AND 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION. THERE ARE SOME EXTRAS ON THE BIKE WHICH INCLUDE CHROME EXHAUST, AIR CLEANER BADGE, TIMER COVER, LOWER BELT COVER, BELT SPROCKET, BAG STAYS, SWITCH HOUSINGS, BRAKE/CLUTCH PERCH, PASSENGER BACKREST, AND PROGRESSIVE SUSPENSION. Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
Harley-Davidson Delivers Strong Growth For Fourth Quarter And For Full Year
Tue, 29 Jan 2013Harley-Davidson released today its fourth quarter financial statements, revealing the company’s fourth-quarter income from continuing operations was $70.6 million on consolidated revenue of $1.17 billion, compared to 2011 income from continuing operations of $54.6 million on consolidated revenue of $1.18 billion. Fourth-quarter 2012 earnings per share were $0.31, up 29.2% compared to EPS of $0.24 in the year-ago quarter. For the full year, Harley-Davidson income from continuing operations was $623.9 million on consolidated revenue of $5.58 billion, compared to full-year 2011 income from continuing operations of $548.1 million on consolidated revenue of $5.31 billion.
Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program
Tue, 17 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.
