Harley-Davidson Dyna description

 1993 Harley Davidson Dyna

Up for grabs is my Harley that I have owned and enjoyed for the past three years. This is a CLEAN TITLE 1993 Wide Glide that runs and looks fantastic! The bike cranks right up, it is mechanically perfect with no issues whatsoever. The pipes sound amazing and I've gotten a ton of compliments on the sound this bike puts off. This is the favorite of all the motorcycles I've ever owned but it's time to part ways.

I'm just going to start by listing everything I can remember about the bike. Besides all the money I've invested into it, the prior owner to me was also very meticulous with servicing and maintenance, so rest assured this bike was never abused or treated ill. There are approximately 44,xxx miles on it, but with all the new internals, it runs like new. This is a FL titled biked with myself and the previous owner, the miles are 100% verified and real. *Be wary of other similar motorcycles for sale on here and elsewhere with lower miles showing on the odometer. In a lot of states, some owners/dealer will change out the odometer, when in reality it has 2-3x more mileage than is showing.

Upgrades & Maintenance
  • A COMPLETE top to bottom engine rebuild was done last month along with other maintenance work. This was a high quality rebuild, costing me approximately $2200 and using parts such as Crane lifters & pushrods, Andrews cam & Cometic gasket kit. I did not skimp on this whatsoever. At the same time this was being done, I also had the transmission flushed and added new transmission lines. Lastly, the primary chain and clutch was inspected and serviced. This was all done 2 months ago in July and has less than 200 miles on it all.

Within the last year, all of the following has been added or performed:

  • New stator
  • New cranking modules
  • Crane electronic ignition
  • Oil pump
  • New black paint
  • Carlini 16" Ape Hanger Bars
  • New brake, throttle and clutch lines
  • New rear brakes and rotor

These items were installed by previous owner:

  • Vance & Hines pipes
  • 42mm Mikuni carb
  • Kuryakyn hypercharger
  • Roland Sands wide glide fender brace (I also am including the front fender with original paint. I just preferred the look of the brace)

Other

  • All electrical works great, brakelights, blinkers, ignition switch, etc
  • Speedometer works without issue
  • There is an abundance of chrome accessories all over the bike such as fork lower legs, primary cover, rocker covers, etc
  • Tires have around 40-50% tread left in my opinion
  • The seat is by Corbin and was originally quite expensive. I was quoted around the $100 range to get it recovered, which I would highly suggest doing as it is very comfortable and Corbin is known for their structural longevity
  • There is some pitting on wheels
  • Rear shocks function well but minor pitting and rusting
  • Brake and clutch lever slightly flaking
  • Of course the expected minor wear that has accumulated over time. all cosmetic though
It may be obvious but please remember this is a 1993 motorcycle and one has to expect cosmetic flaws and minor imperfections. I've tried to picture what I could, however please message me with any condition specific questions and I would be more than happy to answer them.

The bike has a TON of money invested to it. Nothing cheap was put on this motorcycle and it shows in the strength of the engine along with the fluid shifting transmission. This is a fantastic deal that will be reliable ride for quite some time with the amount of money invested into maintenance alone. Any 'negatives' about the bike are entirely cosmetic and in no way affect the mechanical nature of the bike. AGAIN, the mechanical nature of this bike is honestly near perfect in my opinion. I have owned quite a few motorcycles and can't really fault anything on this bike mechanically. It doesn't even drip oil!

The motorcycle is located in Panama City Beach, FL and you are more than welcome to come see it in person prior to auction close. Please message me to set up a time or also if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
