Harley-Davidson Dyna description

Highly desirable 2002 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Sport FXDX  with only 16.5K Miles !  Any motorcycle that wears the name "Harley-Davidson" has plenty of attitude built in. The Super Glide Sport is the one that wears more of it on its sleeve. There's not a subtle bone in its steel body. For proof, settle into the low seat, grab the flat dirt track-style bar and unleash some H-D fury to the road. It's eighty-eight cubic inches of blacked-out Twin Cam88 power. Adjustable rear gas-charged shocks and a cartridge-type sport fork to dial up the experience to any degree you like. You get sticky tires and triple disc brakes. The style is equally aggressive. Blacked-out components. It's Dyna Glide at its most restless. Looks and runs great. Stunning black paint, its hard to believe this bike is 11 years old. You could own a virtually flawless garage kept motorcycle that is mechanically sound! Show room quality and a clean title. This bike has had two owners. This motorcycle looks like the bikes featured on the "The Sons of Anarchy" television series. Mostly stock, 13 spoke mag wheels and brand new Michelin tires. Accessories include: 6 in risers, Screaming Eagle Exhaust, K&N Air Filter, Chrome Instrument cluster, Bad-lander Seat, Chrome grips and pegs.

Tue, 12 May 2009

Harley-Davidson has JUST uploaded a new video to YouTube (seriously! It was at 0 views when I got there!).  The video is a behind the scenes look at Harley-Davidson’s photo shoot for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. Watch the behind the scenes footage from Harley-Davidson’s new print campaign in the June Issue of Vanity Fair that salutes women riders and encourages females who have not yet hit the road on two wheels to “experience life with no regrets.” The women featured are health and wellness expert and NBCs The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels; Grammy®-winning singer-songwriter Jewel; television and film actor Tricia Helfer; and Los Angeles rider/entrepreneur Deborah DiMiceli.

Harley-Davidson and an American Hero

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

As 2013 marks Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary, this year’s H-D lineup will have a special ode to the occasion, just like past anniversary models. To commemorate this event, the Harley-Davidson Museum is giving visitors a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the design and planning process that supports its legendary anniversary celebrations in its latest exhibit, Designing a Celebration, opening Friday, Jan. 18.
