You are bidding on a 2004 Harley Davidson Dyna FXDI Super Glide. The bike has ape hanger handlebars, short shot exhaust, and driver floorboards. The 88ci motor and starts, runs, shifts, and drives as it should. The bike will need some TLC to make it perfect. There are only 15,762 original miles on the motor. There are a couple small dents in the fuel tank which can be seen in the pictures. The battery cover is missing and can also be seen in the pictures. The bike will also need a seat bolt. The exhaust has gotten blue from heat and this can also be seen in the pictures. There is cosmetic wear and tear throughout the bike. This is an opportunity to get a great deal on a bike that needs only minor work to be in great condition.

The bike is located in Muskegon, MI at Hot Rod Harley-Davidson. There will be a $200 documentation fee added to the selling price as well as your state's sales tax. The sale will have to be run through the dealership. The winning bidder is responsible for pickup or shipping of the motorcycle. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours. The remainder of the payment is due within 7 days. Please have any financing in order BEFORE bidding on this motorcycle.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

To commemorate the 90th anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week, June 8-16, 2013, Laconia Harley-Davidson is launching a campaign to raise $30,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region. To help raise the money, a customized Harley-Davidson Street Glide, donated by Laconia H-D, will be raffled off to one lucky winner. If you’re interested you better act fast; only 3,000 tickets will be available and can be purchased for $10 a piece.

Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit

The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“  exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
