Harley-Davidson Dyna tech info
Harley-Davidson Dyna description
Bike is in outstanding condition as it has always been: garaged, correctly maintained and on 2 wheels!
I purchased it from Harley Davidson of Danbury on 10/10/2014 with 5006 miles on the odometer. I had anticipated riding it more than I have during my ownership. Bike starts, runs and drives as it should. All mechanicals function as designed at point of listing. My focus has since turned to a 1978 CJ 7 as this vehicle is more fitting for my wife and son to concurrently enjoy! The previous owner took very good care of it as well and all service was done through Harley Davidson of Danbury. There are several upgrades that were done from Cobra Exhaust to the LCD oil pressure gauge seen the attached images. The center display is showing 1070, this is not the mileage but the rpm as I took a picture of it at cold idle. I have all paperwork on hand and it will accompany the bike. I have a clean (no accidents/insurance claims) and clear (no outstanding liens) title in my possession. In other words there will not be a lag time in the transaction as many bikes this new are financed and thus will require loan satisfaction prior to title release. Please feel free to ask any questions that may arise! If payment is via wire, bank check or personal check the funds must become fully available on my end in order for the title, bill of sale and bike to be released. Sale will only be within the Continental United States. |

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
