Harley-Davidson FXR description

Harley-Davidson FXR2 in Stone Cold Blue custom Harley-Davidson color. This looks more like a very deep blue purple than a blue in most lights. Endless compliments & questions on this Harley every time I have had it out it draws all the right kind of attention. The FXR frame has been one of the most popular frames in all of Harley history. This has the Evo motor, rubber mounted frame & adjustable rear shocks. The FXR was brought back as a limited special edition 1999 Harley model called the FXR2. This was the first ever CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) bike from Harley direct from the factory with limited edition custom paint & chrome including chrome swing arm. There were approximately only 800 of these produced in 1999. The MSRP on this bike, as the 1st ever custom CPO, was around $28,000 + dealer markups. This is NOT a stock Harley & this is NOT a stock FXR. The FXR2 was then followed by the FXR3 & FXR4, none were as sought out & desired as the original limited edition FXR2.

Harley’s Behind the Scenes at The Art of Rebellion

Wed, 06 May 2009

On February 7th, 2009, at the Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica’s Bergamot Station Arts Center, Harley-Davidson gathered 11 of today’s most relevant and exciting artists to present their take on the theme of rebellion. Because the event was so popular, The Art of Rebellion one-night only event quickly became a month long showing. Artwork was for sale and the proceeds were donated to Art Matters, a foundation that assists socially and aesthetically groundbreaking artists.

Watch As Motorcyclist Gets Chased By Elk – Video

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

Apparently, elks aren’t too keen on motorcyclists, as the video below demonstrates. This couple, aboard what sounds like a Harley-Davidson (that potato-potato exhaust note is unmistakeable), were riding along in Missoula, Montana when this elk decided he wanted to take the road for himself. As traffic slowed and eventually passed, the elk took a growing interest in the couple on the motorcycle, approaching them.
