Frisco Style Panhead Chopper with less than 1000 miles since built. Matching cases 1948 Panhead engine was completely rebuilt and upgraded with a High Lift cam, S&S Carb, and custom exhaust. There was a weld repair around the timing hole done and it has a slight crack along that repair which is very common on these old engines. It does not leak or affect performance in any way. (detailed pic Below) Starts first kick and runs real strong, just took it on a 300 mile round trip to Bisbee, AZ for the "Howl and Prowl" MC show. 4 speed trans shifts perfect. Belt drive primary. Rigid frame with girder style springer. Juice drum in back and the front has a Hallcraft hub with brake that works well enough to hold you on a hill. Custom hand tooled leather Bates seat. Fat Bob Tanks with Custom airbrushed skulls. Jammer speedometer mounted on custom made Z Bars. Bitchin bike ready to ride, just serviced with Brad Penn 50w oil. Mustang Announces Metal Flake Seat Colors and Display for Sturgis
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Just in time for Sturgis, Mustang Seats has release new color options for its custom seats. Designed to match the retro colors on Harley-Davidson’s Hard Candy Custom collection, the vinyl seats have metal flake in six available colors available on Mustang’s Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper seats. According to Mustang, after the starting its custom seat program last fall, so many customers requested a metal flake option that they had to provide it.
Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
