Bob Probert’s Last Ride [video]

The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family.  Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners.  Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video

Bruce Edmiston was a Harley-Davidson test rider for over 20 years. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

Harley-Davidson Opens First Showroom in Vietnam

Harley-Davidson has opened its first dealership in Vietnam, the world’s fourth largest market for motorcycles. Located in Phu My Hung in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City, the new Harley-Davidson of Saigon opened its doors this past weekend with a full lineup of 27 models. Vietnam is one of the world’s largest markets with sales of 3.1 million two-wheelers in 2012, trailing only China, India and Indonesia.
