1951 Harley-Davidson Panhead Survivor
I rescued this bike out of South Carolina, several years ago. I rebuilt the engine and transmission, and put on road worthy tires. My son Matt took it to Sturgis and put over 1000 miles on it. So drivetrain has probably 2000 miles on rebuild. All new chains, rebuilt transmission, and engine, new tires. Drive it anywhere! Great patina, groovy muffler, all real parts. A new battery will be installed and this bike will be in very good running condition upon pick up. No trailer needed! Any questions, call Dale at 828.734.9222. The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Preliminary 2013 Road Racing Schedule
Fri, 09 Nov 2012AMA Pro Racing released a preliminary calendar for its 2013 Road Racing season. The tentative schedule contains nine confirmed rounds with another two to be confirmed. Next season will again see four classes of racing: AMA Pro National Guard Superbike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport, and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series which returns under its new name.
