The numbers work out to be a 1953 Harley Davidson Model 165.  What you see is what we have.  The bike has a set of wheels, (front wheel does not have correct axle), frame, front end, handlebars, engine (no cylinder head, exhaust, or carburetor).  The engine does not turn over.  Please look at all the pictures.  SOLD AS IS WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY.  NO TITLE.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011

U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.

2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Models Recalled for Pinched Brake Lines

Harley-Davidson is recalling 66,421 motorcycles because of a problem with the front brake lines getting pinched. The recall affects all ABS-equipped 2014 touring and CVO touring models including the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Street Glide, Road King, CVO Limited and CVO Road King. Police and Shrine edition models are also affected, as are the Twin-Cooled version of the Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the Road King Classic which are produced for other markets.
