Harley-Davidson Other description
1962 FL Duo-glide Panhead, this was my fathers bike who has passed 6 years ago, and I have never had the time to finish it. Bought the bike in 2003, and started to re-store a lot of original parts. Original gas tanks, original motor, original carburetor, original air cleaner, original transmission, original wheels, original fenders, original seat, was re-painted but has sat for many years. My dad was working on this bike until he took sick. Bike has been sitting untouched. The engine turns free, and will run. Would be an excellent bike for someone who has the time to finish putting it together. I am not an expert in motorcycles, so may find it difficult in answering any questions. From what I see the bike is about 85% complete. This bike was never registered, but has a clear Florida title.
Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping. I will not be responsible for making any arrangements, but I will help load the bike on the truck/trailer.

Motorcycle riders from around the world enthusiastically joined members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) on June 23 and 24 to shatter last year’s record mileage total for the Harley-Davidson World Ride by collectively logging more than 10 million miles, a 28 percent increase over the 2012 total. Launched in 2008 as HOG’s Million Mile Monday, the annual event was expanded into the two-day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012 to give more riders worldwide an opportunity to participate. In 2012, participants logged 7,799,140 miles, but this year as riders celebrated the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the 30th Anniversary of HOG that culminates this Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, they blitzed that record by more than 25 percent, tallying an official total of 10,018,231 miles.Mon, 13 Jan 2014 00:00:00 -0800
In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.Tue, 23 Oct 2012 00:00:00 -0700
Harley-Davidson reported a profit of $134.0 million dollars over the third quarter of 2012. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory. The Milwaukee company shipped 52,793 motorcycles in the three months ended Sept.
