1972 Harley-Davidson Police Bike, This is a very original 1972 FLP Police Bike. The story that I got when I purchased this bike was: The police officer who rode this bike on duty purchased it for himself when it went up for sale. He rode it around until the early 1980's. He felt he had gotten too old to ride, but didn't want to get rid of it. He kept it in his garage and started it up regularly. He passed away and his wife kept the bike until approx 5 years ago. A friend of mine found out about it and told me. I ended up buying it for my collection. I have started it up and ridden it around a bit, not much. The miles are actual, so that shows how much road this good ol' bike has seen! The speedometer is original, the seat is original, the center stand (kickstand) is original. I just put a brand new battery in it. The paint on the tank and rear fender looks to be original. It looks like the front fender might have had some paint work done at one time. The bike doesn't appear to have ever been jacked with. I've noticed that when it sits for a long time, the clutch tends to stick. It may need to be cleaned or the bike might just need to be ridden. All of the numbers match on the bike. It starts right up and runs good. It sounds just like a good ol' Shovelhead should sound! This bike does not have a price on it because it is being auctioned on Ebay. It can be seen in person at my dealership. I am a dealer. I can issue a permit for an additional $3, if the high bidder wants one. If sold to a resident of KS, I will have to collect sales tax (7.15%). Airhawk Introduces DS Comfort Seating System For Dual Sport Bikes, Bikes With Narrow Seats
Fri, 16 May 2014Airhawk, Inc., has introduced the DS Comfort Seating System, a cushion designed specifically for motorcyclists who ride dual sport bikes or bikes with narrower seats. Features of the DS cushion include a narrow front to match the seat profile of most dual sport/adventure bikes and bikes with narrow seats. A tapered-down front minimizes unwanted pressure on the scrotum, and a heavy-duty hold-down strap system ensures a secure fit to the bike. The DS also works well with narrow customized or aftermarket seats that have been installed for the purpose of getting the rider lower to the ground.

US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
