Harley-Davidson Other description

Up for sale is my 1974 Harley Davidson X-90 Shortster. This thing is a blast to drive and at 90CC is street legal! The Bike will come with a valid Illinois title. The bike currently shows 1382 original miles on it. The bike has not been ridden in 16 years. It was put in storage in running condition. I have not tired starting it since taken out of storage. It does need a little TLC since it's been sitting so long, but is in excellent condition for it's age. This is a VERY rare find here! The bike is missing the gas cap and oil cap. Other than that everything else appears to be stock. Buyer is responsible for pickup or setting up shipping. Please view the pictures carefully. If you have any questions or would like to come view the bike prior to bidding please let me know. Reserve is set at a very fair price. Thanks again and happy bidding!

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
