1974 Harley Davidson FX Shovelhead
Purchased in 1996. Bike rebuilt in 2003. Engine rebuilt, now has 3,500 miles on it. Andrews C Grind Cam and S&S Carberator and Fatbob gas tanks installed. Also changed to 21 inch front wheel and a more modern rear brake was added. Progressive rear shocks and progressive spring kit in the front forks. Chrome wheels with polished stainless steel spokes. Belt drive primary. It is electric and kick start. Lots of chrome, all painted surfaces are custom powder coated. Garage kept and well maintained. This motorcycle has never been in an accident and title is in hand. Buyer to pick up or arrange for transportation. Payment prior to pick up. Cash in hand or certified check. Mon, 13 Jan 2014In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
