You are looking at a 1992 Harley Davidson FXRS-SP with only 12,675 original miles and no that is not a misprint. I purchased this bike from Mikes Famous in New London, CT last year and have all of the documentation to prove it. As soon as I got the bike, I began to take it apart and build it back up the way it sits now. I may have put 50 miles on it since I recently finished it but that is probably a stretch. I have the original tach/ speedo to prove the mileage. I will try to list some parts I have added/ replaced but will probably miss a few things:
- custom paint by Time Warp - new rubber front and rear - new rotors and yes the front is a dual disc - black powder coated wheels - custom sprung Hagon shocks for a 210 pound rider - roland sands diamond stitch 2 up seat - Bassani road rage exhaust - lowbrow customs air cleaner - 6" black risers with dirt bike style handle bars - mx style grips - all handlebar buttons and wiring have been cleaned up/ eliminated - solenoid push button starter - custom black headlight with hi/ lo switch on rear of bucket I am sure I am missing stuff but these are the highlights. The bike is in awesome condition with not a single problem. It has to be one of the cleanest/ low mileage FXR's on the internet right now. Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
