Harley-Davidson Other description

2000 Harley-Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide, Please contact Brad for special web site pricing! 970-581-7016 - When the first custom bike purists began stripping off parts and bolting on highbars, the distinctive look was only part of the equation. The bikes felt as powerful as they looked. So it’s only fitting that this year’s Wide Glide is powered by a Big Twin built with the same idea. The Twin Cam 88. Sit in the low, stepped seat, feet on the forward controls, fists skyward on the factory ape hangers, and it’s not hard to notice the new performance. You feel like you’re right in the center of it. The rest of the bike comes on just as strong. Wide, raked fork. 21" laced wheel. Loads of chrome. It defies convention. But with a ride like this, who cares what the rest of the world thinks.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Tue, 21 Sep 2010

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. Motorcycle Ride for Diabetes

Fri, 23 Jan 2009

Photograph by: Roy Antal, Leader-Post By and large, motorcyclists are some of the most generous citizens in the world. Riding events all over the world bring in untold millions of dollars for numerous worthy charities. Keeping with this theme, one hardy Canadian rider is braving the Great White North’s frigid winter temperatures by riding his Harley coast to coast to raise awareness for diabetes, a disease that has seen a rapid explosion of new afflictions.

Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.
