The motor gets a special treatment, in blacked-out steel. Textured black meets wrinkle black. There’s not an ounce of flash, which makes it all the more eye-grabbing. The black flat-track handlebar and low-slung seat set up an aggressive riding posture. Brute street performance is the message, and it’s not subtle. Get on the gas and you discover just how not subtle. We also add dual gauges, a taller suspension and tighter 28º front end, plus triple disc brakes. So you’ve got what you need for the long, winding road. We’ll let you take it from there.

Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary
Thu, 08 Dec 2011Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.

Fri, 21 May 2010Harley-Davidson opened its first dealer in China in 2005, they now have four dealers operating nationwide (Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao and Hong Kong). Harley reported that sales had doubled in China last year and plans to open four new dealerships this year (Wenzhou, Xiamen, Dalian and Chengdu). According to Rodney Copes, Harley’s Vice President of international sales, China is the fastest growing market for the American motorcycle manufacture.
