2013 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob Gets Styling Updates And H-D1 Factory Customization

For 2013 Harley’s Dyna Street Bob gets updated styling treatments that further promote the production-level bobber’s no-nonsense image. In addition to the restyling, the Street Bob joins the 1200 Custom as one of two bikes available for Harley’s web-based customization program known as H-D1. “Our focus for the Street Bob is always on street appeal,” Harley-Davidson’s Styling Manager Tony Pink said in a release.

Harley-Davidson Ultimate Learn-to-Ride Contest for Women

Harley-Davidson announced a new contest for women looking to get started into riding motorcycles. The “Ultimate Learn-to-Ride” Experience will award four women with a prize package including a new Harley-Davidson Sportster personally designed through the H-D1 Factory Customization program, $1,000 in Harley-Davidson apparel and a trip for two to Milwaukee to take the Harley-Davidson Riders Edge rider course. Built For Speed Art Exhibit To Be Displayed At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.
