A lean, narrow frame fired by a legendary V-Twin. The look of a Harley-Davidson Custom. Like the 883 itself, the styling is just enough to stand head and shoulders above anything else. Notice the forward foot controls. They’re new to the Sportster. The drag bars and unique mounting of the chrome speedo add more custom style. So do the chromed bullet headlight and sleek, two-up seat. The engine covers get a silver powder coat. Then there’s the profile. A lowered suspension and solid 16" disc in the rear, and tall forks with a 21" laced wheel up front. The 883 Custom. Clean, mean and all Sportster.

In a time before the economic meltdown, motorcycle sales, especially for Harley-Davidson, were booming. After the collapse, sales have only started to pick up again within the past two years (at nowhere near pre-2008 levels, however).

Titled “The Sound of the Festive Season”, the ad spot was produced by U.K agency Big Communications for Harley-Davidson Europe Middle East and Africa. According to AdWeek, the ad was conceived, sold and produced in just 72 hours.

Thu, 30 May 2013The second annual ‘Ride to the Dunes’ charity ride for child abuse awareness kicks off Sunday, June 2 2013, with Grand Marshal Lorenzo Lamas leading the way. The ride will start at Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina Del Rey, California and end at Sycamore Cove State Beach in Malibu, where guests will be treated to lunch and a concert by Alchemy. Riders of all makes and models are welcome to join.
