although this bike is pretty much bare bones...
THIS BIKE IS A SOFT TAIL not a rigid frame
Independence Choppers produced high grade custom motorcycles with brand name quality parts in the early 2000's when the chopper craze was hot.
Unlike many bikes built in garages by shade tree motorcycle enthusiasts, this bike was built by a reputable company & comes with a clear clean GREEN manufacturer MI TITLE!
not an assembled Michigan title.
thus making it allot easier to insure & register.
These machines are comparable to a Big Dog, Iron horse Big Bear choppers etc.
This motorcycle originally retailed around $28,000
this bike runs great and looks great but is not a perfect show bike!
obviously from the low price.
I'd say the paint is a 7.5 outta 10. its got a few scratches and some chips. I tried to show them in the pics. it looks fantastic from 10 feet away
chrome looks good not perfect.
the brake lights work intermittently. the taillights light up 100 % of the time though.
not sure but I think its a sticky stop light switch.
the previous owner removed the turn signals and removed ignition switch so there is no key required for ignition. it has a hidden push button.
kinda slick if you ask me. I have a new HD ignition switch I can throw in with the sale if the buyer wants it.
With just over 7,000 miles there's plenty of life left in the 100" RevTech powerhouse. The 6 speed transmission shifts well & runs smooth on the highways with the 6th gear.
The HUGE rear wheel gives plenty of traction & of course looks stellar from all angles. Front wheel is spoke 21".
Aftermarket Vance and Hines exhaust ensures you WILL BE HEARD! LOUD
She's a beauty who gets attention everywhere i take her. Although heavy she gets outta her own way with zero difficulty.
New S&S ignition module installed last season as well as a brand new Metzler front tire.
fresh oil change with a primary flush with fresh fluid as well.
New battery last season.
this bike is for sale locally thus the auction may be ended at anytime without any notice
I got this bike in trade for a pickup truck last year.
bike is for sale for a couple reasons
we own 4 other motorcycles right now & we have a baby boy. ..
dad needs a new truck
I'm sure you can do the math ")
local pickup is accepted
buyer pays any and all shipping and handling.
I will help the shipper of your choice load it up

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
Happy Birthday Elvis!
Fri, 08 Jan 2010Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today. As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).
