I have decided to put my 2003 Anniv. Edition V-ROD up For Sale.It currently has 4571mis. I have several thousand dollars worth of accesories: Custom chrome mirrors, chrome axle covers, chrome pivot covers, chrome pegs, and 100th Anniv. grips, derby cover and clutch cover. It also has Screamin Eagle pipes. My bike has been recently serviced with AMSOIL synthetic, NGK plugs, and K&N air filter. This bike is in perfect mechanical condition. It has never been dropped, laid down or been involved in an accident. There are no dents or scratches and has always been garaged kept with a cover. I'm asking $12,200.00. Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit
Wed, 24 Oct 2012From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Models Recalled for Pinched Brake Lines
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 66,421 motorcycles because of a problem with the front brake lines getting pinched. The recall affects all ABS-equipped 2014 touring and CVO touring models including the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Street Glide, Road King, CVO Limited and CVO Road King. Police and Shrine edition models are also affected, as are the Twin-Cooled version of the Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the Road King Classic which are produced for other markets.
