Dip it in chrome. That’s the new Super Glide Custom. A clean, custom motorcycle with a maximum shine. Put on some dark shades to check this one out. For starters, your eyes will immediately lock in on the silver powder-coated engine with chrome detailing. The proven Twin Cam 88 powertrain, available in traditional carb or sophisticated EFI, is always ready for as many miles as you care to throw at it. We rubber-mounted it to the frame for a ride that’s as smooth as the looks. The stretched tank gets a color-coordinated console with performance-style fuel filler cap. And the flat handlebar and staggered shorty dual exhaust pipes look ready to take this clean, custom show on the road. The Rekluse Torq Drive auto clutch system is designed to increase torque capacity by 17% to the general clutch system. Rare Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and Memorabilia Up for Auction
Tue, 24 Jun 2014More than 500 rare Harley-Davidson motorcycles and collector’s items will be hitting the auction block on June 28. The items belong to Ron Shreffler, former owner of a Harley-Davidson dealership in Manteno, Ill. The retired Shreffler once had plans to open a Harley-Davidson museum but has now decided to auction off his collection gathered from 48 years in the industry.
Storm Tears Facade Off Colorado Harley-Davidson Dealership
Tue, 09 Apr 2013A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
