1997 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy , Beautiful 97 Fat Boy for sale. It has had many upgrades; exhaust, intake, cam, head work, carb work, lots of chrome, custom paint....ect. The bike was purchased new by a family member and approximately 10k in upgrades were added. I have all the paperwork showing everything that has been done. The bike has been garage kept even while I was deployed. I have had the bike for the last 11 years and have not had any problems. I get compliments on it everywhere I go and the chicks dig it. Now that I'm married (partly to do with the bike) and live in a different area I think it time for something new. I still love the bike and hate to see it go, but I'm ready for a new project. I'm not looking for any trades. I know what I want to get but I need to sell this first. Anyway, it's been a very reliable and dependable bike and I'm asking $8500 OBO. Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
Harley-Davidson Opens New Asia Pacific Headquarters in Singapore
Thu, 19 May 2011Harley-Davidson has opened a new regional headquarters for the Asian market in Singapore. The new facility will house Harley-Davidson‘s sales, marketing and dealer development operations for its Asia Pacific region. The region office was previously located at Harley-Davidson’s global base in Milwaukee.
