Besides more power, 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission and standard Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), the Fat Boy gets funkier and flashier with a major upgrade to its already muscular profile. Start at the back with a new 200mm rear tire and extra chopped rear fender. A new two-tone and two-up seat with laced triple bullet tank strap sits behind a traditional Fat Bob fuel tank with new customized graphics matching those on the fenders and laced triple bullet detailed tank strap. The Fat Boy cuts a wide path with a new 17-inch front wheel, chrome front fork nacelle and giant bare knuckle risers and a fat custom internally-wired handlebar. Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
Harley-Davidson Extends UFC Sponsorship; UFC 164 Added to 110th Anniversary Celebrations

The new agreement will see the mixed martial arts company hold its UFC 164 event Aug. 31 in Milwaukee’s Bradley Center during Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations over the Labor Day weekend.

Tue, 19 Jul 2011Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $190.6 million over the second quarter of 2011, thanks to the first year-on-year quarterly improvement in the U.S. market in nearly five years. For the three months ended June 26, 2011, Harley-Davidson’s operating income totaled $301.9 million, a 38.0% increase from the $218.8 million reported in the same period of 2010.
