Harley-Davidson Other description

2009 Harley-Davidson V-Rod MUSCLE, 2009 VRSC-F V-ROD Muscle. Extremely well maintained, all service was done at Harley-Davidson in Grand Junction Colorado. Have every service record for your review, along with a record of each oil change. Last time it was at Harley-Davidson for service the tech wrote on the service order (completely unsolicited) motorcycle is in great shape . For those unaware of what a VRSC-F is, it is a Harley-Davidson / Porsche (yes, that Porsche) creation. Water-cooled engine which will last for hundreds of thousands of miles. It performs unlike any Harley out there, and will drop them like they're standing still. These are high revving motorcycles, built to last. Power cruisers. Gorgeous lines, a work of art both sitting as well as riding. Water-cool engine has eaten up the 20,000 miles and wants more. Vance & Hines slip-on muffles to be able to hear the engine (stock mufflers are extremely quiet), comes with the original stock muffles as well. Luggage rack and backrest installed, the only way to travel more than a day trip. I have packed 2 weeks of luggage on it no problem Keyless FOB. ABS. New tires and yes, the back tire is the fat 240. These bikes have a notorious clam-shell sitting position that can cause a stitch in the right shoulder so installed a high-quality riser to the bars that solves this issue. You may remove if you like without much difficulty, but I can tell you that you'll want to put it back on :). Has normal wear and tear but not much. If you look closely there are a few scratches on the airbox (what would be the tank on another bike, the tank is actually under the seat) and a tiny (literally tiny) hole in the seat on the right side that just occurred. NO OTHER DAMAGE - bike has never gone down - no accident, no crashes, nothing like that at all. 1250cc engine that does not perform like any other cruiser bike out there, can easily eat a Honda VTX 1800cc and then some. Very flexible bike, I've ridden in Moab's Christmas Parade at parade speeds and was very comfortable to do so. This is a canyon carver!! Absolutely love this bike, is very difficult to let go of it but MUST SELL. Serious interest can text (or call) at 435.220.0676 $13,800.00 4352200676

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Thu, 17 May 2012

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.

Elvis' Harley

Thu, 16 Aug 2012

Today (August 16) it's exactly 35 years since Elvis died (or didn't, depending on your beliefs on the matter) so we thought we'd mark the moment with this – Elvis Presley's own 1956 Harley-Davidson. Elvis is so inextricably linked to Harleys that he's even become subject of an endlessly-circulating internet myth. You know, the one where a guy finds an old Harley for a few bucks, starts to restore it and discovers an 'Elvis' inscription under the seat.
